My Current Evening Skincare Routine

Step One: Cleanser

This is the most important step.you want to make sure that your skin is clean so that all the products you use can be absorbed into the skin.For me i am using my favorite BIODERMA Crealine H2O to remove my makeup first.Then i use my current cleanser LA ROCHE-POSAY Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser(I have done a full review on this cleanser in my previous blog post.) with my CLARISONIC mia 2,I have been using my Clarisonic for more than 3 years already,I have definitely noticed the major changes on my skin.I am very happy with the condition of my skin now.

Step Two: Treatment

For treatments are Exfoliators or Deep Clearing treatment,all depends on the condition of my skin.

For Exfoliators,my current favorites are:CLINIQUE  7 days facial scrub cream and GLAMGLOW youthmud tinglexfoliate treatment mask.For Deep Clearing treatment,i am using GLAMGLOW Supermud clearing treatment mask.

CLINIQUE  7 days facial scrub cream is a dermatologist-developed exfoliating cream deflates,refine.It helps minimize the appearance of fine lines and clears the way for moisture.Just gently massage over the face.Rinse or tissue off.I use this 2 times a week.It makes my skin feels very clean and smooth,especially on my T-zone.

GLAMGLOW youthmud tinglexfoliate treatment mask is a 10-minute mask,it provide resurfacing exfoliation and helps to leave the skin smoother,brighter,and softer.I use this mask one a week.After each use i feel my skin feels brighter and softer.

GLAMGLOW Supermud clearing treatment mask is a clearing treatment helps to fight all common skin concerns including breakouts,discoloration,black and white heads,razor bumps and in-grown hair.It visibly draws out dirt and congestion while brightens and softens skin.I use this mask to deep clean my skin once a week as well.After a few times use,i can see it cleared my skin,and my skin is smooth and bright looking.

Step Three: Toner/Mist

After the cleansing/treatment,I always use a toner or face mist.I am currently using the CAUDALIE Beauty Elixir and MELVITA Damask Rose Floral Water.Both of these are very refreshing.

Step Four: Moisturizer

As Moisturizer,i am using LA ROCHE-POSAY Effaclar Duo.It is a dual action treatment to reduce inflammatory acne while minimizing irritation.It penetrates deep into clogged pores to remove impurities and discourages blackheads and whiteheads.It also reduces the number and severity of acne blemishes and smoothes the skin texture.My skin really loves this moisturizer.

Step Five: Eye cream

The skin of the eyes is very different from most of the skin of the rest of our face.It`s thinner,more sensitive and has fewer oil and water glands,so it need more moisturization. And while you can apply your facial moisturizer there,it may not be rich enough. So because of this,we should all start to use eye cream everyday.

I got this CLARINES Eye Contour Gel for puffiness and dark circles.I like this eye cream because it`s very cooling and non-oily,and it brightens and hydrates my eyes area.

Empty Products#1 Bioderma Crealine H2O & LA ROCHE-POSAY Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser

Hello everyone,a new serie of blog post was started,which is Empty Product.So i will do reviews of the products i`v used up.

This month i`v finished up these two products.Both are French skincare products.

Bioderma Crealine H2O&LA ROCHE-POSAY Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser.

Feeling very lucky living in France,as i am a huge fan of skincare.it`s very easy to get hands on all these amazing french skincare products.

Bioderma Crealine H2O,which i have already repurchased again and again,it was the "holy grail" in my skincare routine.Remembered the first one i`v ever used was 2 years ago,i have asked my husband prepared for me before my first visit in France.

It is THE BEST.I love it so much!!!It`s very effective,takes makeup off and doesn`t dry out the skin,and it`s very great for sensitive skin,because it`s very gentile.That`s why the makeup artists and models swear by it and it is always in their kits.It is one of the products i cannot live without.Big thanks to my all time fav makeup artist Lisa Eldridge`s Makeup removal Tutorial video.

For  the cleanser of LA ROCHE POSAY was a first time purchase after watched Lisa Eldridge`s My Skincare Routine-Part One video.As her cleanser theory is it should be as natural,as simple,as gentle as possible.So i decided to give this cleanser a try.

LA ROCHE-POSAY Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser is a cleansing and makeup removal milky fluid for face and eyes,suitable for all types of intolerant skin.It is fragrance free and very gentle.

Toleriane products are high tolerance products to help reduce the risks of irritants.Skin intolerance and hypersensitivity manifestes itself with feelings and discomfort like tightness and dryness,that can be accompanied by clinical signs and redness.

I use this morning and night as a deep cleanser after i take my makeup off using the Bioderma Crealine H2O.I message it into my skin and wash my face with my Clarisonic mia 2.Then i rinse it off.Afterwards my skin feels so smooth,soft and hydrated,it cleans my skin very well and it looks just so fresh.

After using this cleaner and my current skincare routine for about a month and half, i started to notice that my skin doesn`t break out that often,in general it has been in good condition.I am really happy about that!

I already went to the Pharmacie and got new bottles of these two products.

Embryolisse’s Lait-Crème Concentré Review

Picked up this well-loved tube of Embryolisse’s Lait-Crème Concentré from the Pharmacie after repeatedly reading about it being hailed as a must have by makeup artist,models,beauty editors and celebrities.

If you are not familiar with this product,well,it is a 3 in 1 cream lotion:primer,nourishing moisturizer and makeup remover.This velvety moisturizer gives skin the ultimate silky finish without being heavy.Thanks to generous amounts of shea butter,beeswax,aloe vera and soy proteins.It can be used on all skin types.

Advice for use is apply morning and/or evening to clean,dry face.Massage in gently without applying pressure,and leave to penetrate.

This moisturizer is packaged in an aluminum squeeze-tube.It has a light creamy floral scent.The texture is thin and a tiny little bit watery.A small amount goes a long way.After i have applied it and massaged it in,it made my skin smooth and dewy and plump.I really like the way how my skin feels after applying this cream lotion.

As a makeup primer,I find i really like it.It makes my skin more even and the foundation applies more smoothly with a dewier finish.To use it as makeup remover,add a small amount to a cotton pad and gently wipe away the makeup then rinse thoroughly and follow by using a cleanser.

Over all,i am really impressed with Embryolisse’s Lait-Crème Concentré.It will definitely be maintaining very handy in my winter skincare kit.

Durance Perfumed Handcraft Candle

I have always been a huge fan of perfumed candles.When i was living in Singapore,i used to fill up my room with lovely Yankee Candles.

However,after i moved in France,it`s very different to get the Yankee Candles.So my husband bought me a few lovely candles from the local french shop called NATURE&DECOUVERTES .And the ones he got for me were from the ESTEBAN collection.The price range is 20 to 32 euro.I loved them and i have finished burning all of them.

So it`s time to try out some new candles and i wanna to try the candles from Bath&Body Works.Sadly there is no outlet in France and they do not do international shipping.After searching on Amazon.fr,i gave up this idea because the price is way to much!

My husband had this good idea,why not we try to find some french brand and candles made locally in France.And we found this brand which was one of the first few authentic French Brands whose root lying in the French region of Provence,DURANCE.I learned that 95% of the ingredients used in DURANCE products are naturally sourced.

This Sunday after the church service,we went for a walk in Saint.Paul de Vence.And we passed by a  DURANCE boutique,and we found the candles we saw online.So we bought one,the Citron Confit(Candied lemon).

This is a lemon scented candle but more at the creamy side.The perfect scent for me.I have tried it out the first time today in our living room and the whole room smells so divine just after ten minutes.I am really impressed and falling totally in love with it.

Looking forward to try out some different scents and other products from them as well.
